    Cory is a sixth generation Coloradan, and was born in Durango, his current home town. He first started his entrepreneurial journey while in college, as the cofounder and CEO of SnowGate, which he took from napkin to acquisition in three years. While working as the EIR at the Boulder based accelerator Boomtown, Cory fell in love with helping founders navigate the fundraising journey. This led him to cofound Colorado's first pre-seed fund, Kokopelli Capital. In 2018 Cory cofounded the Greater Colorado Venture Fund and has been a General Partner ever since.

    Prior to cofounding GCVF, Jamie was member of the Startup Colorado team and cofounder at Kokopelli Capital, Colorado's first pre-seed fund.  As a Venture Partner for GCVF, he focuses on the investing and finance operations.  Outside of GCVF, he writes about the future of capital and supports others building a healthier version of capitalism.  Durango is home.
